ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Buenos Aires

  • Arrive during the day or night, but it’s nice to just relax and unwind at your hotel after dinner at a parillada in Buenos Aires as you prepare for your journey tomorrow to Patagonia.

Day 2: Travel day to El Chalten

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR SOME WILDLIFE! WE SAW A LOT OF GUANACOS AND FOXES ON OUR WAY TO EL CHALTEN.

  • Take an early morning flight from Buenos Aires to El Calafate.

    • Approx. 3-hr 20-min flight

  • From El Calafate airport:

    • Approx. 2- 3 hours road trip

    • Take a private transfer (taxi, semi-private or private shuttle) to drop you off directly to El Chalten.

    • Take a taxi or shuttle transfer from airport to the bus station, from here, you can take the public bus to El Chalten.

Most likely, your driver will make a stop at La Leona to break up the trip, go grab yourself some coffee and empanada!
