At AKT Made, Inc., the story began with a vision — a rustic and whimsical wedding that was both unique and elegant.

Both Andrew and Katee share a passion for design and craftsmanship, so when we began planning our 2016 wedding, we wanted furniture and décor that reflected our style. Unable to find a vendor whose pieces fit our theme and budget, we decided to build everything ourselves — from tables and benches to bars, chafing dishes, and ice chests.

The handcrafted pieces became the talk of our wedding, and our guests loved the designs so much that we decided to share them with others. That’s how AKT Made Party Rentals was born — a collection of handcrafted furniture and event equipment available for weddings, holidays, and special gatherings of all kinds. Over the years, our pieces have added warmth and character to countless celebrations, from birthdays and baby showers to anniversaries and intimate holiday dinners.

As our rental business grew, many of our clients asked if they could purchase our furniture instead of just renting it. We were thrilled to say yes — and that’s how our second venture, AKT Made Custom Furniture, came to life. We now work closely with homeowners and business owners to design and build one-of-a-kind furniture and fixtures that reflect their personal style and space. Today, our handmade pieces can be found in restaurants, hotels, retail spaces, and homes across California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah.

Andrew’s craftsmanship runs deep — his skills were honed not by YouTube tutorials but by a lifetime of hands-on experience. Growing up with a father who is a Master Woodworker, Andrew spent his childhood in the workshop, learning the craft from the ground up. Decades later, that foundation continues to shape every piece he builds.

Katee ensures that every client and partner receives the highest level of service. With a professional background in Account and Project Management for enterprise-level clients, she brings meticulous attention to detail and a deep commitment to quality and satisfaction.

Together, they have built AKT Made, Inc. on the belief that beautiful design and superior craftsmanship shouldn’t come at the expense of fair pricing. Every piece they create tells a story — of creativity, dedication, and the joy of making something truly special.
