Our company, AKT Party Rentals and Custom Furniture, began with a vision of a rustic and whimsical wedding that's unique and elegant.
Both, Andrew and Katee, loves to design and build unique furniture and equipment.
In 2015, we got engaged and began to plan on our wedding back for 2016. Unable to find a vendor that has the design of furniture and equipment that would fit our theme and budget, we decided to make our own tables, benches, ice chest, bars, chafing dishes, and many other unique items. Everyone from our wedding loved our handcrafted pieces. So, after our wedding, we decided to establish a rental company to share our furniture and equipment with couples who has the same dream wedding. Although, we do not focus on weddings alone, our furniture and equipment has been fully booked on holidays (especially Thanksgiving and Christmas) for intimate gatherings, and has been a huge part other special occasions like birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, etc.
Many clients who rented from us were very satisfied with our service and really liked the quality and design of our furniture and equipment, we kept being asked if they can be purchased. Of course, we are more than happy to be a part of everyone's home or business establishment. This is how our other line of business, custom furniture, started. Everyone has different tastes and the spaces always vary, so to suit everyone's needs and wants, we personally work with our clients to plan, design and create their very own furniture or equipment. Now, you will find our handmade items in many business establishments - restaurants, hotels, retail stores, etc., and homes around California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah.
